Bible Studies
Zion offers numerous Bible Study opportunities for members and non-members.
- Sunday mornings – Adult Bible Study, 9:15 AM
- Tuesday mornings – Men’s Bible Study, 6:45 AM
- Wednesday mornings – Women’s Bible Study, 10:00 AM
- Thursday mornings – Bible Study, 8:00 AM
- Thursday evenings – Bob-In Bible Study, 6:30 PM (call office for schedule)
Daughters of Elizabeth Altar Guild
Zion’s Altar Guild is comprised of members of the congregation, who volunteer a small amount of time to serve the Lord and our congregation by seeing to the details of setting up the Altar for Holy Communion, insuring that the Communion-ware and Altar are kept clean and in good repair,decorating for the holy seasons of Christmas and Easter.
Members meet four times annually for planning and once annually for a fellowship potluck.

Catechism Class
This instructional class is intended for students that are in grades 6, 7, and 8. For further questions, please contact Pastor Moritz at 231-347-3438 or pasmoritz@dls.net.

Children’s Church
Our program is designed for children preschool age through fifth grade. We teach children the importance of worshiping our Lord and give them the tools to do so. It’s like having Vacation Bible School every Sunday! If you have further questions, feel free to call the church at 231-347-3438.
Adult Mission Efforts
Zion will be planning many new and exciting missions efforts throughout the year. We welcome your ideas and participation!
Zion Lutheran Preschool
Our 4 year old classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Carrie Crawford and Kelly Richie. Our 3 year old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday with Carrie Crawford. All classes meet from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The preschool program is based on teaching the little ones about Jesus in a fun, active, Christian setting.
The school has a large indoor gymnasium for play in inclement weather and a beautiful green grass playground area with sandbox, climbing toys and playhouse for outdoor play. Parents are invited to come and sit in the classroom at anytime to watch their children play, or if you are interested in visiting the progam to consider for your own children.
The school program is led by an active board of parents, teachers, grandparents, and members of the congregation, to insure that the very best is planned for the children in the program.

Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group
Our Senior High Youth Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 6:30 till 8:00 pm here at Zion. We will have various activities, Bible Studies, games, all topped off by a snack. Our focus is to keep today’s youth involved in Christian fellowship through fun and engaging activities.
