Members meet four times annually for planning and once annually for a fellowship potluck.

We would love to have you join us!  Call the church office (231-347-3438) for details on meeting times.

Catechism Class

This instructional class is intended for students that are in 6, 7, and 8th grades. For further questions, please contact Pastor Peters at 231-347-3438.

As 6th & 7th Graders, our students take a closer look at key Bible Stories, using our Bibles and the Concordia Publishing House “Bible Stories” textbook.

In 8th Grade, we take our Biblical knowledge and apply it toward the truths of the Church as put forth in Luther’s Small Catechism.

Zion Lutheran Preschool

Our 4 year old classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday . Our 3 year old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday. All classes meet from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The preschool program is based on teaching the little ones about Jesus in a fun, active, Christian setting.

Preschool ClassThe school has a large indoor gymnasium for play in inclement weather and a beautiful green grass playground area with sandbox, climbing toys and playhouse for outdoor play. Parents are invited to come and sit in the classroom at anytime to watch their children play, or if you are interested in visiting the progam to consider for your own children.

The school program is led by an active board of parents, teachers, grandparents, and members of the congregation, to insure that the very best is planned for the children in the program.

If you have any questions about the preschool, please call the school’s director, Kim Timm, at 231-347-2757.

Come grow with Jesus!
